Destroying sensitive documents is often an important step in home security, and thanks to an upcoming event, this will soon be a lot easier for Northridge households.
A free document shred has been planned for the local community, and is intended for the public only. It is scheduled to be held at the CD12 Community Center located at 9207 Oakdale Avenue in Chatsworth, and the mobile shredding truck will accept a variety of materials for disposal.
To help prevent the spread of covid, those who would like to take advantage of this offer are asked to pack their items in a standard banker sized box, and assistance will be supplied in removing them from their vehicle. Masks will be mandatory, and items like x-rays and three-ring binders will not be accepted. Each participant can drop off up to four Boxes, and items can be brought in starting at 10:00 am.
The organizers of the day explained that signage will be posted to help make it easy for the public to take advantage of this offer. A printing services company that offers wide format Print techniques will be able to supply these sorts of items.
This community shred will help local households to be more secure on April 17th. The truck will remain on site until it's been completely filled or 12:00 pm.
