A digital camera opens a world of photographic fun, and a workshop will help those who own one to take some great shots.
Van Nuys Woodley Park will serve as the location for a photography class with plenty to offer the beginner photo buff. Northridge residents are welcome to participate, and it will follow a small group format.
Professional photographer Kevin Toohey will be the instructor for the session, and he will be introducing the participants to some of the features of their digital camera so that they will be able to take pro level pictures. Both mirrorless and DSLR camera users can participate, and the learners will gain experience with different lighting levels, taking close-up photos, and other techniques to get the shots they want.
The organizer of the workshop pointed out that the location was chosen to make it easy to access by people from across the San Fernando Valley. Registration Forms and many other items that can help take care of the business side of an activity like this will be available from area Stationery printers, and they will have a full line of other materials as well.
This small group photography class will begin at 8:00 am on June 26. The facilitator has requested that anyone with questions should contact him through his company website.
