A Northridge area event will be spreading smiles next month, one brown bag lunch at a time.
The #HashtagLunchbag initiative gives members of the public an opportunity to give back to their community, and all ages who would like to participate are encouraged to attend. The registration fee for the activity is $10, and the whole occasion will have a party atmosphere.
The group will work as a team to put together bagged lunches, and a special love note will be included in each. A Print shop can prepare Promotional Products like these, and if they have been printed with an organization’s Logo Design and name, they can help to raise awareness of its efforts among the public.
Once the Bags have been prepared, the volunteers will go out into the community and distribute them to those in need. Each will include a handwritten note that lets the recipient know they are valued, and once they have been given out, the participants will be asked to post about their experiences on social media to help spread the word. The goal is to show how easy it can be to make a difference in the world and encourage everyone to do their part.
The Parlor, which can be found at 7250 Melrose Avenue, will be welcoming volunteers for this program starting at 10:00 am. It will be taking place on March 23.
