The San Fernando Valley Chorale will be presenting its ‘Singing into Spring’ concert in a few days.
The nonprofit chorale composed of local men and women singers will be presenting an evening of classical, folk, pop, Broadway, and spiritual music. Under the direction of Conrad Immel, the ensemble will be singing medleys from ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ and ‘Music Man’. Featured soloists-members of the chorale will be singing famous pieces such as ‘Nessun Dorma’.
Although the event will be free, a donation of $10 per adult and $5 for children will be appreciated.
Light refreshments will be served after both concerts. This will be an opportunity for those of us here in Northridge and the rest of the public to meet the performers. Family members and friends of the singers will want to take pictures with the members to be used later in personalized Stationery, or possibly for future brochure printing for the Chorale.
This organization is composed of people who love popular and classical music and just enjoy singing. Two concerts are performed every year, with the other one being in December.
The concert is scheduled for Sunday, June 3 at Valley Park Baptist Church, 16514 Nordhoff Street in North Hills, and will begin at 7:30 pm. A repeat concert will be June 4 at the Congregational Church of Chatsworth at 20440 Lassen, Chatsworth starting at 5:00 pm.
