Local arts group has two shows beginning next month

The Artist Co-Op 7 is hosting a pair of upcoming group art shows beginning next month. This will be the group's 27th year operating in the community.

The group is made up of seven artists, including Adria Becker, Susan Gesundheit, Selina Cheng and Rachelle Mark.

The first show is Mix it Up!, which will take place at the Creative Arts Center. Works include monoprints, oils and acrylics, among other genres. The opening reception is set to take place on January 8 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

The next show will be ‘Through our Eyes’ at the Encino Terrace Center Lobby Gallery. An artist's walkthrough of the exhibit is planned for January 20 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Fans of arts from all over the area, including Northridge, are sure to be interested in visiting one or both of these shows. It may also attract those who work for local graphic design companies.

The Mix it Up! show will be on display in the Creative Arts Center Gallery from January 8 to 28, and its days of operation are Monday to Thursday. Call 818-238-5397 to find out the latest information.
