The Winter Celebration at the Leonis Adobe Museum is taking place on the first Sunday of next month.
The museum is a recreation of a 1880s working ranch, and is a popular place for school field trips and provides many public education programs. It will be fully decorated for the holiday season while offering some special programming.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, and no doubt the children will have the opportunity to let Santa know what they want for Christmas. They can take part in holiday arts and crafts projects and enjoy the music of Craig Newton. There will also be a chance to feed some of the ranch animals; these animals include horses, cattle, sheep, goats, a dove, and turkeys. In addition, light refreshments will be available for purchase.
It is likely that people from nearby communities such as Northridge will be interested in experiencing activities at a historic ranch over the holidays. To help advertise, local printing companies are often asked to provide marketing materials such as Flyers or Posters.
The Winter Celebration will be held at the Leonis Adobe Museum in Calabasas on December 4 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Admission is $5 or free for museum members and children under the age of two. For more information about this event or about programs at the museum, call 818-822-8511.
