Typically performed in the Southern California communities including Placentia, the Gabriel Alegri Afro-Peruvian Sextet will live stream a performance of jazzed up entertainment for their fans.
The professional performers decided that the pandemic restrictions in the state will not stop them playing for their fans. They have curated a three-camera shoot for this virtual concert, which will take place in a high-tech acoustic hall.
The band leaders tout their music as being a unique combination of style that cultivates feelings and thoughts. Fans have described the music as “cool in a hot kind of way.” The music includes significant drumming, rich harmonies, and melodies. Afro-Peruvian jazz music mixes tradition with creativity for the intention of capturing the imagination of the audience, and has proved popular in Placentia and surrounding communities.
A device such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone can be used to see the concert. Internet is required. Once the ticket is purchased, access will be given to the live stream. Viewers will receive an email login with details. Headphones are recommended but not required.
Graphic design is a service provided by local Print shops that could be used for online performances. Promoting the band’s logo and theme can result in future brand awareness and event attendance.
The concert will take place on June 11, starting at 6:00 p.m. Tickets prices range from $7 to $20. For questions about this event, call 213-200-1420.
