Placentia to organize uplifting authors lunch

The Placentia Library will be organizing a luncheon in March that features a comedic columnist as the special guest.

The 2022 Author’s Luncheon is an event created by the Placentia Library Friends Foundation. Participants in the activity will listen to inspiring conversations from the guest of honor. There will also be baskets available for people to bid on during the luncheon’s silent auction. This year, the author’s lunch will take place at the Alta Vista Country Club. Organizations that create interactive experiences such as this may use poster printing to promote the luncheon at venues like libraries.

Marla Jo Fisher is an experienced humor columnist who submits pieces for the Orange County Register. She received education from the University of Utah and has more than 25 years of writing experience. Her work has also been in publications such as the Long Beach Press-Telegram, Pasadena Star-News, and Daily News. Fisher also writes about traveling on a budget and current bargains. She has even written a book about her adventures.

The 2022 Author’s Luncheon will take place on March 5th, and doors to the experience will open at 10:00 am. Tickets to the lunch can be purchased for $60. People will also have the option of donating additional money to the Placentia Library Friends Foundation and may write notes to the organization when ordering their tickets.
