Placentia to debut summer music festival

The Placentia Chamber of Commerce will hold a new community event in June at Old Town Placentia.

The Placentia Palooza Music Fest is an event where people can enjoy live shows from a lineup of talented local groups. The festival's first day will have soul, jazz, and R&B performances from bands such as the Zavala Jazz Soul Posse and Prime Time Music. The second day of the fest will represent genres like indie, rock, and alternative. The line-up for the second part of the event includes the Social Ghosts, Emi Grace, and Vida Moxy.

There are also several vendors at the palooza for guests to browse. The Tlaquepaque Restaurant will host a taco bar for attendees, and Broken Timbers will sell beer and seltzer. People can also order wine provided by the Placentia Grocery Outlet. Guests cannot bring their own beverages or meals to the music fest, and coolers are not allowed at the venue. Those who bring Backpacks will have their Bags searched.

The music fest will be held from June 2 to June 3, and the concerts will last from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. General admission to the festival costs $20 per person, though VIP experiences are available for $250. The VIP package includes a private table and eight tickets to the concerts. Organizations that debut new shows like this may use poster printing to get their target audiences interested in the events.
