Placentia studio offers handstand workshop
A yoga studio in Placentia will be holding a class in May to teach students how to perform a handstand.
The Intro to Handstand workshop is a lesson where guests will be taught how to perform the downward-facing tree pose. The course teaches students how to activate their cores and build strength in their foundations. The instructor will also show attendees the proper way of exiting a handstand and how to be stable while upside down. The lesson is open to those of all handstand experience levels. Mod Amaya will be the teacher for the workshop.
The Bootea Flow Yoga Studio is a facility that creates safe and comfortable spaces for clients to help them reach personal goals. The venue has a built-in coffee and tea bar and offers several types of classes, including yin yoga, restorative yoga, and yoga for children. The studio also has lessons for breathing techniques and performing aerial yoga in hammocks. Fitness facilities such as this may use banner printing for advertising their workshops to consumers.
The handstand lesson will be held on Saturday, May 14 from noon to 1:30 pm. Tickets to take part in Amaya’s workshop will cost $30 per person. Those interested in becoming a member of the yoga studio may pay $100 per month. A five-class mat pack will cost $100, and a ten-class pack is $150.
