Placentia set for October spooks

Ghosts and goblins are coming to Placentia’s Historic Bradford House, and locals can join the witches and frightful creatures for high tea and have a bewitched afternoon of fun.

The Hocus Pocus Holiday Tea will present games and delectable treats in the historic setting. A costume contest is part of the spooky fun. The organizers are asking that participants wear costumes that are in line with ghosts, witches and other holiday creatures. A holiday outfit is also fine.

Tea in Time is hosting the Halloween event. The company focuses on period-themed events and has established a strong reputation for providing ultimate customer service. The A.S. Bradford House located in Placentia was home to Albert Sumner Bradford. Bradford founded the city upon establishing a water tank next to the railroads.

Holiday-themed parties and events are often promoted through flyer printing. Flyers can include all of the pertinent information about the activities as well as images and graphics to appeal to the public. Local Print shops are often contacted to handle the flyer printing.

Proceeds from the event will benefit “Exploring History through Authors” as well as “Miss Frothingham’s School of Etiquette” programs scheduled for summer of 2020.

The Hocus Pocus Holiday Tea will take place October 26 from noon until 4:00 pm. Tickets are $32 and can be purchased via the Tea in Time website.
