Placentia restaurant to host chamber event

The Placentia Chamber of Commerce will be organizing a meeting in February at The Whole Enchilada in Placentia.

The Lunch Mob series is a program by the Placentia Chamber of Commerce where members can eat meals at local restaurants while supporting their fellow professionals. There is no formal agenda for the meetings and no reserved seating. The activity is focused on attendees making new connections with the other guests. Those who take part in networking lunches similar to this may use business card printing to produce distributable contact information.

The Placentia Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to provide programs and services that nurture new jobs and economic activity in the city. The Placentia Chamber has a unique culture specializing in small and home-based businesses, though the organization also supports large companies. Membership dues for firms to join the Chamber range from $295 to $750. The exact price depends on how many employees work for the company.

The Lunch Mob at The Whole Enchilada will be held on Wednesday, February 16 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The networking activity is free for people to attend. There will also be a second Lunch Mob meeting at the same venue on Wednesday, April 17 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Businesses can learn more about being a Placentia Chamber member on the group’s website.
