Visitors and locals are looking forward to the annual Placentia Heritage Festival coming this fall. The festival is promoted by the City of Placentia Heritage Committee.
Following with tradition, the event will be lakeside surrounded in a scenic area with plenty of shade. A pancake breakfast will kick off the event, and there will be band competitions throughout the day. A Ferris wheel along with a trackless train will be at the park for the children to enjoy.
A craft show and food concessions will part of the festivities. The participants typically work with local Print shops for marketing tools such as banner and poster printing. The brand messaging can be printed on each of these items to promote their wares.
A chamber of commerce business showcase presents members discussing their various companies and what they offer, along with how they support the community.
Applications to participate in either the art and craft show, food vendor stations, or perform in the bands will be open through September 15.
The Placentia Heritage Festival will take place on October 23 at the Tri-City Park. Information is available through the City of Placentia website. Committees are now in the process of begin organized. The committee holds regular meetings the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm, and volunteers may inquire through the entity.
