Placentia children get to tinker
Tinker Time for families and children will kick off its monthly activities in January in Placentia. The venue is the Placentia Library District in an area known as The Hangar. The program provides creative opportunities for children ages five to eight.
The January event allows kids to record their own voices and sound for music in a podcast format. Oral presentations may also be recorded.
Participants in the Tinker Time activities must possess a Placentia Library card, which is free of charge to obtain. The Placentia Library website has the full information and application form.
Registration to attend Tinker Time allows a maximum of three tickets per each library card with a registered parent or guardian attending with the children.
Printing services often work with local organizers for small events of this type in handling poster printing. Posters can have the information about an event displayed in a colorful and attractive manner and can be placed throughout a region to enhance attendance.
Check-in for the Tinker Time class opens 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Walk-ins may be admitted providing there is enough space after registered participants have arrived. No late admissions will be allowed.
The Placentia Tinker Time program will start on January 14 and will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. The library is located at 411 East Chapman Avenue. For more information, visit the event website.
