The non-profit SpoofDawg will be hosting a fundraiser in June at the Placentia Round Table Women's Club.
Summertime Quartermania is a special event where people can bid on various auction items while showing their support for local dogs in need. The money raised at the auction will help SpoofDawg provide essential goods like pet food and emergency supplies to other animal rescue groups in Southern California. The organization also receives assistance from known brands such as Chewy, Kong Toys, and The Greater Good Charities.
This year, the featured rescue partner for the event will be the Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue. The group is the third-largest rescue group for golden retrievers in the country and finds homes for over 300 dogs each year. The organization's goal is to rescue golden retrievers and golden mixes from abusive circumstances and place them into loving homes. People can help the rescue by volunteering with the group or fostering one of its dogs.
The fundraiser will take place on Sunday, June 4 from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. General admission for the event can be bought for $25, which includes a bidding paddle to use at the auction, lunch, and a non-alcoholic drink. The price will increase to $30 after June 3. Organizations that host auctions like this may use poster printing to get more people interested.
