The Concert in the Park series is returning to Placentia next month and will continue into August.
The events will take place every Thursday evening at 6:30 PM and admission is free of charge. Food vendors will be on hand to sell a variety of dishes.
The kick-off concert will be on July 7 and will feature Diamond is Forever, a tribute to Neil Diamond. The next week will feature Upstream.
The event on July 21 will also feature Taste of the Town, which is a presentation of the Placentia Chamber of Commerce. Several restaurants and caterers in the city will be providing unlimited samples of their food for $20 or free to children aged 5 and younger. It will begin at 4:00 PM and will be followed by a concert by The Fenians.
The last concert of the month on July 28 will be by the Darden Sisters.
Those participating in the Taste of the Town may invest in banner printing services to draw attention to their booths.
