The 51st Citizen of the Year/Business of the Year Recognition luncheon is taking place next month, presented by the Placentia Chamber of Commerce.
Nominations for both of these titles are still being accepted until January 7 at 5:00 pm. Individuals and businesses up for these awards must have shown a dedication to the community and their sponsors must explain why they think they deserve to win either one. Those nominated must also have lived, worked, or volunteered in the Placentia community for at least 12 months prior to the nomination deadline, and businesses must also be members of the Chamber of Commerce.
The ticket price for the luncheon is $30 per person until January 13 (payment must be made by January 14 and the guest must RSVP) and $35 after.
This will be a networking opportunity for Placentia business leaders, and no doubt many will be bringing their premium Business Cards to exchange with their peers. There will also be many chances to discuss business and to possibly forge new partnerships.
