Hungry adults in Fullerton, and nearby Placentia, can enjoy drinks, music, and food in a scenic setting.
The Fullerton Arboretum and Botanic Garden is hosting its 4th annual 'Brews and Blues’ for adults aged 21 and over. Attendees will get to sample brew from both local and regional breweries, including Authentic Old School Gold Beer, Anaheim Brewery, and five other companies.
Along with refreshments, guests can enjoy live blues music, barbecued food, and the establishment's grounds featuring more than 4,000 plant varieties.
Admission costs $35 for Arboretum members and $45 for nonmembers. This includes a souvenir tasting glass along with 10 beer samples (4oz each) and free parking. More tastings and barbecued fare will also be for sale.
For $10, there is a designated driver ticket, which includes admission, soda, and water. Tickets are not refundable.
Proceeds from the event will go to the arboretum, a nonprofit organization and the biggest botanical garden in Orange County. Funds will allow the establishment to continue to be an educational resource for the community.
The event kicks off on August 22 at 5:30 pm. The Fullerton Arboretum is located on 1900 Associated Road, on the California State University Fullerton campus.
