Children in and around Placentia can bundle up and experience a chilly event to round off January.
A snow delivery is being made to Brea Dam Park so that kids in the area can experience all the joys of a snowy day.
Little ones can play in the snow, have snowball fights, and make snowmen. In addition, kids can go sledding on one of three 75-foot runs, thanks to sleds provided by the city. Warm clothing and gloves are recommended.
Games, crafts, and a family campfire are a few other highlights at the event. Hot dogs, s’mores, hot chocolate, and other refreshments will be for sale.
No doubt a flyer printing service was used to inform the community about this event. Flyers can easily be posted at the park or passed out to individuals in high traffic areas. The handout could list the date and time along with the cost.
Advance registration costs $12 for Fullerton residents and $15 for nonresidents. Event day registration costs $3 more. Children under two may attend free.
Since the event is limited to 900 participants, individuals are urged to sign up early. To register, individuals can call (714) 738-6575. Online registration at Fullerton E. Connect is also available until January 30 at 5:00 pm.
The snow day will take place on January 31 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Brea Dam Park is located on 1700 North Harbor Boulevard. Get a Free Quote for Flyers
