The Esperanza Entertainment Unit will be holding a concert in May at the Performing Arts Center in Placentia.
The Big Band Blowout is an experience that showcases the talents of student jazz performers from Bernardo Yorba Middle School and Esperanza High School. The event will also feature Victor Louis Goines as a special guest. Goines was once the chief executive director of Jazz St. Louis and was also the director of Juilliard’s jazz program. He is an experienced jazz saxophonist and clarinetist who has played with famous names like Bob Dylan and Diana Ross.
Businesses interested in supporting the Esperanza Entertainment Unit’s signature concert can purchase a sponsorship package. The lowest tier costs $500, which includes benefits like mentions on the band’s social media account, an advertisement in the event’s program, and a logo on the band’s trailer. All sponsors for the Big Band Blowout will receive free tickets for the concert and a digital file from the band that shows their appreciation for the support.
The show will be on Thursday, May 18 at 7:00 pm. Those interested in volunteering for the concert can assist with tasks like selling tickets on the day of the event, distributing concert Posters, and setting up the venue’s green room. Organizations that work with volunteers during events like this may use printing services to give them custom tees to wear during their shifts.
