Placentia is offering an opportunity for people to create a valentine for the special person in their life. Put a Little Love in your Heart is a special class arriving just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Participants will use acrylics and canvas in designing their work of art. Instructors will guide guests as they create a backdrop in the shape of a heart. Each artist will be able to personalize the individual pieces as they choose. Attendants must possess a Placentia Library Card. Cards are free at the library, if one is needed, and attendees must be 14 years of age or older to participate in the class.
Organizers of workshops or classes often work with local printing services to handle poster printing. Posters can be in full color and depict the event details along with vibrant images to attract interest and increase attendance.
The painting activity will be held at the Placentia Library District located at 411 East Chapman Avenue. It is scheduled for February 1 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the begin of class. Latecomers will not be admitted, while walk-ins may be allowed depending on space available after registered guests have arrived.
