Food festival brings party to Placentia

Foodies and entrepreneurs should leave open space in next month’s calendar, as a food festival and networking event is set to arrive in Placentia.

The 10th Annual Taste of Placentia food festival will begin in a few weeks. It will provide an environment for foodies and local business owners to congregate and explore the best food and beverages from the Placentia area. The event, which the Placentia Chamber of Commerce organizes, has featured over 100 vendors in previous years.

Vendors include local wineries, distilleries, breweries, and restaurants that put their best foot forward to show off their offerings. In addition to the food and beverages, guests will enjoy access to live music on a comfortable lawn. DJ Slim Dee will provide the music and entertainment for the evening.

Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets, though outside coolers and food will not be allowed in. Flyer printing is an effective way to spread awareness of such events and display what attendees can bring. Service animals are welcome, but pets are not allowed into the food festival and concert venue due to Health Department restrictions.

The Tri-City Park will host the Taste of Placentia food festival on Thursday, August 15th, starting at 5:00 PM and ending at 9:00 PM. General admission tickets for adults cost $40 per person. Interested parties can make reservations online.
