Culinary experience comes to Placentia
Residents and visitors will have the opportunity to tantalize their taste buds this summer as Taste of Placentia comes to town. Proceeds benefit PYLUSD schools.
Restaurants participating must follow health regulations and provide plates, napkins, and cutlery for serving their food. Food vendors should plan to give out flyers, promotional materials, and menus for guests, which may entice visits to their restaurants.
The 6th annual event has traditionally brought nearly 70 vendors in addition to the food hosts to showcase their specialties, and participation is expected to be even greater this year. By registering as a vendor, an eight-foot table, two chairs and a 10 x 10 canopy will be included. Two wristbands and tasting plates will also be provided. Vendors should bring décor and signage and an extension cord if requesting power. Participants are encouraged to host giveaways and games to attract traffic to the booth.
Vendors often contract with local print services for provisions needed for their booths. Banner printing creates bold and highly visible signage. Business card printing ensures an adequate supply to distribute encouraging future business.
The 2019 Taste of Placentia will take place August 15 at Tri City Park beginning at 5:00 pm. until 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 for unlimited food and beverage tasting wristbands. Children are $10 for ages 3-10, and those under three can attend free of charge.
