Convention offers education for pros and amateurs alike

VidCon is taking place for four days next month in Anaheim.

The convention is aimed at professionals in the video creation industry, and amateurs who want to make superior videos for such platforms as YouTube and Instagram.

There are three tracks to choose from for attendees: Community, Creator, and Industry. Each track will feature seminars, workshops, and keynote speeches. There will also be panel discussions, meet and greets, outdoor concerts, and cocktail receptions.

Attendees can also check out the newest products and services related to video production in the expo hall. The event will finish off with the VidCon Prom.

Among those who will be speaking at the conventions are The Try Guys, Rickey Thompson, Liza Koshy, and David Dobrik. Topics of discussion will include writing content, online video communities, and podcasts.

Fees vary for the track chosen. Industry costs $750 for four days, Creator is $200, and Community is $150. Chaperone is also available for $140, which is for parents whose children are attending. A single-day Community ticket can also be purchased for July 13 alone.

It is likely this event will attract attendees from all around the area, including Placentia. To help advertise events like this, local flyer printing companies often provide marketing materials.

VidCon will be held from July 10 to 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Visit the official event website to learn more.
