This month, the Placentia Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating an important milestone.
The upcoming 90th Anniversary Celebration will feature drinks, dinner, and dancing. There will also be a silent auction. Since this is a 1920s themed event, attendees are asked to dress in ‘Roaring 20s’ attire.
Tickets cost $40 at the door, and guests are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy with them for donation. The toys will go to H.I.S. House, a homeless intervention shelter that has been serving the Placentia community since 1989. Through the help of volunteers, organizations, and businesses, H.I.S House has been able to provide shelter and help individuals until they can find a job and save money for a home of their own.
The event will take place at The Meridian Club, a sports club located in Fullerton, just minutes away from Placentia. The club is also a venue for weddings and other important events.
