A cultural event is being organized in Placentia to spread awareness and understanding of Celtic culture, allowing area residents to learn more about their roots.
The California Celtic Fest is set to arrive in Placentia next month, and area music lovers and individuals with an interest in other cultures will want to attend. The event will span two days, celebrating the Celtic nations and their heritage through song and dance. OCLEES will partner with the Celtic Fest for this year’s gathering to ensure a memorable experience. It will also be sponsored by Archie’s Ice Cream and Quilter Performance Applications.
In addition to music and dance, attendees at the festival will enjoy access to cultural food options and refreshing beverages. The setting will be family-friendly, and guests can bring their children. Banner printing is a bold and colorful way to welcome visitors to such events while promoting the event and its sponsors to passersby.
Vendors and artisans will attend and showcase their crafts and goods for ticket holders to purchase. Musicians and bands performing will include The Young Dubliners, The Fenians, Craic in the Stone, and The Ploughboys.
This year’s festival will be held at Kraemer Memorial Park in Placentia on the weekend of June 14th and 15th, with the gates opening at 11:00 AM. One-day tickets are available for $21 per person online.
