Candles and beer collide for fun day in Placentia
Local creatives with a taste for craft beers will be in for a treat next month, as a crafting event is working to collaborate with a local brewery.
The Candles and Beer: Candle Making Class at the Bruery will open its doors to interested parties who want to learn the basics of making candles to enjoy at home. The hands-on class will demonstrate the steps of making a fragrant candle that burns clean to ensure a healthy home environment.
The instructor, who is from Create. Meow. Repeat. LLC, will demonstrate how to use coconut wax and a custom glass jar to create a candle to either decorate the home or give as a gift to friends and family. Printing services can help event organizers provide instructions for students in such workshops to improve the learning experience and promote future practice at home.
Each ticket provides all the necessary supplies to make one 7.5-ounce candle, along with a complimentary beer from the host venue. Guests can craft, sip on their beers, and make new friendships with other like-minded individuals in attendance.
