The 4th annual Taste of the Town is taking place next month, presented by the Placentia Chamber of Commerce.
A number of local restaurants will be on hand to provide samples of their food. There will also be a beer and wine garden. Guests purchase tickets or a wristband to pay for food and drink samples.
Music will be provided by No Duh, which is a tribute to No Doubt. Their appearance is part of the Concerts in the Park series that takes place in the city during July and August.
In addition to food and drink sampling, local businesses will be on hand to showcase their products and services. Vendor booths are still available for rental. Fees are $195 for a 10 x 10-foot booth for Chamber of Commerce members and $295 for nonmembers; they come with an 8-foot table and two chairs as well two wristbands. Sponsorships, which include two booths, are $500 and $1,000, and those who take them up will be recognized on the entrance sign and allocated signage by the stage.
This event is an opportunity for local restaurants and businesses to attract more local business. Many may decide to hand out Business Cards, ordered from a Placentia Print company, to those who drop by their booths.
The Taste of the Town will be held at Tri-City Park on August 17 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. Admission is free, and an unlimited tastings wristband is available for $20. Contact Michele Severson at 714-528-1873 for more information.
