Performance to take Napa back to the prehistoric age
While dinosaurs may have disappeared from Napa a long time ago, they will soon be coming back, if only for a day.
Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live will bring these huge reptiles to life during a stage display that will incorporate puppetry and other performing techniques. As the event is intended to be both educational and entertaining, professional paleontologists and other experts in the field helped to develop the show, with a goal of crafting dinosaurs that look and move in a realistic way.
The show, which the organizers note is suitable for those ages five and up, will include more than just the stage performance. Starting an hour before it begins, there will be an assortment of games and other activities for the kids, and afterwards, they will be able to meet with the puppeteers and even pet a baby dinosaur. Those who come to the event are reminded that food and beverages are not permitted in the theater, and the organizers noted that the show is not suitable for babies. Booklet printing techniques can be utilized by a printer to create an assortment of informational materials that can be given to each child who comes to an education function like this.
The Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center will host the performances next Saturday, October 7, and two will be staged. Anyone who would like to learn more about the event can do so through the E&M website.
