Napa community invited to Calistoga summer concerts
The Napa community is known for its small businesses within the winery industry, but this summer, the community is coming together to celebrate another aspect of its local talent.
Designed for recreational activities, Pioneer Park in nearby Calistoga has a picnic area and gazebo, which is often used to host concerts and wedding ceremonies, including the upcoming Concerts in the Park series.
The Calistoga Concerts in the Park bring the local communities together to relax, enjoy the summer weather, and support local artists. Concert attendees are invited to bring their picnic blankets and baskets and enjoy a wide range of concerts throughout the summer. The concert will also have wine and food available for purchase. For those wanting to grab a memento of the concert, there will also be exclusive Concert in the Park t-shirts available for purchase. Some of the scheduled performances include Latin, funk, and R&B band Solsa Funk, 80s cover band Kid Galaga, and singer-songwriter and violin player Michelle Lambert, whose music influences range from pop and folk to Celtic and hip-hop.
Attending local concerts like the Concerts in the Park series allows attendees to discover new local artists they may have never heard of before. Performers will often use these concerts as an opportunity to connect with potential new fans and use flyer printing to provide additional information on upcoming events, or where they can share their music with new fans.
The Calistoga Concerts in the Park series will run from June 12th to August 14th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Pioneer Park, which is located at 1308 Cedar Street, Calistoga, 94515. Additional information can be found on the Visit Calistoga website.
