What's Happening in Napa, CA…

Opera set to take center stage in Napa

While the temperatures outside will soon begin to cool down, things are only beginning to heat up in terms of the fine arts. Napa is slated to host a night at the opera in September, and this year's concert is expected to draw an impressive crowd.

The Jarvis Conservatory is set to host Le Nozze di Figaro; one of the most acclaimed works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This dramatic opera tells the story of a servant named Figaro, and his attempts to marry a young maiden. Figaro must use various methods to thwart a powerful count who is likewise interested in his soon-to-be bride.

Live musical performances will often use proven methods to highlight what guests can expect. Traditional brochure printing, onsite posters, and advertisements within online community portals are all highly effective.

Philippe Jordan will be conducting this piece, and additional musicians include Hanna-Elisabeth Müller, Ying Fang, Maria Nazarova, and Andrè Schuen. Le Nozze di Figaro is being performed by the acclaimed Vienna State Opera.

This performance is set to take place at the Jarvis Conservatory on Saturday, September 27. This venue is located at 1711 Main Street, and doors open at 1:30 PM. Tickets will cost $21 per person and can be purchased on the Jarvis Conservatory website. As seating may be limited, confirming reservations in advance is recommended.
