What's Happening in Napa, CA…

Napa gathering welcomes all abilities

A Napa activity will celebrate the community's creative spirit, and it will combine cookie decorating with poetry and other forms of self-expression.

The Special Needs Sweet Words and Sweet Treats event will bring people of all abilities together, and it will be held in the Manzanita Room at 1500 Jefferson Street. Admission will be $5 each, and registration closes on February 7.

The party will see its guests decorate cookies using the edible, colorful toppings provided to them, and attendees will be encouraged to be as creative as they wish. After this, there will be time to share their favorite piece of poetry or heartfelt thoughts with the group. The atmosphere will be relaxed and welcoming to everyone regardless of ability, and the event will run for two hours. It is for those age 14 and up.

Ensuring kids with special needs have opportunities to get involved can help make sure they are getting the most from their local community. Recreation guides and other publications that keep the public abreast of what is going on in their home town can be ordered from area brochure printing companies.

The Sweet Words and Sweet Treats evening will bring the love to Napa on February 7. It will be open from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. People can sign up via the City of Napa website.
