Napa area event to honor moms
People in the Napa area will be taking some time this May to show their moms some love and appreciation.
Cornerstone Sonoma, which is a venue that offers shopping, wine tasting, gardens, food, music, and more, will be hosting an event in its Rose Garden. It will be hands-on, and those who purchase tickets will be able to reserve their own flower to plant.
It has been said that whoever installs a plant makes an investment in the future, and that is part of the inspiration behind this event. The attendees will both beautify the garden and also support Living Room, which is a group that aids families facing homelessness. Each month, those who planted something will be able to drop in and see how their green friend is doing. The opening remarks for the session will offer some gardening tips.
To help add an extra personal touch to the day, each planter can add their mom’s name to a special garden maker. Several of the businesses at the venue will have additional activities on offer in honor of local moms. Customized corporate gifts for such an event can be crafted by print shops.
