What's Happening in Napa, CA…

Local college planning anniversary celebration

Napa Valley College first opened its doors 75 years ago, and it has planned a day of family fun to mark the anniversary of this occasion.

The Festival and Open House will include a variety of activities and exhibits, many of which will showcase what the institution has to offer. A shuttle service will be available to help visitors get around the campus, and the Silverados, which is the area’s first ever pro baseball team, will also be on site and giving away tickets for the upcoming season.

Guests at the festival will be able to sample and purchase wines from NVC Estate Wines, and there will also be live music. The public can participate in a Mexican lariat workshop, take in a cultural performance, browse through the vintage car show, learn how to fly a drone, and visit the campus’s remodeled teaching kitchen. A brochure printing company can supply an assortment of informational materials to distribute during an event like this.

The kids in the crowd can enjoy the activities that will be set up just for them in the Kids’ Zone. This includes a rock climbing wall, bounce house, face painting, and it has been rumored that some action heroes may even be stopping by. A Law Enforcement Expo has also been planned.

All of this excitement is being offered free of charge, and everyone is welcome. It will be taking place on Saturday, April 14 at Napa Valley College. More details can be obtained through the host’s website.
