Art fair returns to Napa Valley for a second year
The 2nd annual Engage Art Fair is taking place over two days beginning at the end of this month, presented by Celebrate! Napa Valley.
This event is different to the regular art fair in that it promises to offer visitors a more interactive and sensory experience, with plenty of hands-on opportunities too.
Artists featured in the fair were curated by four jury members based on creativity, quality, presentation, and overall impression. Categories of works that will be for sale include arts, crafts, and design. Among this year's chosen artists are Lynne Cunningham, Vincent Thomas Conners, and Debbie Ames. The artist-in-residence, Angela Tirrell, will be creating a work of art over the two days.
There are expected to be artists talks, a makers’ marketplace, the Treasure Calistoga Scavenger Hunt, and musical entertainment from more than 10 local bands. They can also learn printmaking techniques and take home their own prints. Visitors can also sample local wine and food.
