Annual show is a great getaway for dad
The 26th annual Father’s Day Invitational Auto Show is taking place next month in Yountville.
There will be more than 150 early and late model cars on display that come from all over the Bay area and represent the past 100 years of automotive history. This is a non-competitive, open-class show. Visitors will be able to get up very close to the vehicles and may even be able to sit in them.
Several nonprofit groups will be selling food and drinks; they include the Fire Explorers of Yountville Fire Department, who will be selling sausages and hot dogs, or guests can enjoy beverages from the Native Daughters of the Golden West.
Those visiting are encouraged to bring donations for Operation Love, which provides care packages to military personnel on active duty.
While at the show, visitors can enjoy several specialty shops, hot air balloon rides, wine tasting and a fine restaurant. A free shuttle will be provided from the California Veteran’s Hope, where free parking is available.
Families from all over Napa may want to bring dad here for his special day. To advertise, organizers may work with local stationery printers to produce items such as flyers.
The Father’s Day Invitational Auto Show will take place at the V Marketplace in Yountville on June 19 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. To find out more about the show, call 707-944-2451.
