Risk management seminar soon to return to Monterey

Numerous professionals throughout Monterey are expected to attend a multidisciplinary event taking place over the course of four days in late February. This year's seminar will be covering the nuances associated with risk management in business.

The 52nd Annual Sea of Risk Management Conference is being hosted by PARMA, a public agency specifically devoted to the mitigation of risk management in business operations. This firm also pairs organizations with service providers intended to supply tailor-made solutions to budding enterprises.

Another primary goal is to provide stakeholders with the latest strategic approaches to risk management, and to share insights offered by other members. This year's keynote speaker will be Captain Richard Phillips. He will be relating his experiences as a mariner and using these as examples of how to address threats while under real-world pressure.

Business seminars will frequently encourage attendees to exchange information with one another. Some common techniques include handing out Business Cards, offering products at a discount, and exchanging contact information.

The conference is being held between Tuesday, February 24 and Friday, February 27. All events will take place at Monterey Conference Center at One Portola Plaza. The exact itineraries will vary from day to day. Non-member registration prices are set at $719 per person, and additional rates for PARMA members can be found by visiting the official website.
