Music and art festival to take place near Monterey

The 19th annual West End Celebration is scheduled to occur near Monterey this summer.

The West End Celebration serves as a three-day festival that showcases art-related exhibits and performances. Each year, this free event features over a hundred artisans and attracts thousands of visitors from Monterey and other surrounding areas. Attendees can watch live music performances, purchase sculptures and paintings, and view in-person art demonstrations and exhibits. Poster printing is a versatile and economical way for festival hosts to notify potential attendees as to the event information and dates.

Volunteers can apply to assist with event preparations by filling out and sending a form digitally or by traditional mail. Volunteers ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

For 2020, the 19th West End Celebration will begin on a Friday evening from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm with a fundraiser party that supports the Monterey Chapter of Guitars Not Guns. This non-profit organization provides kids ages eight to 18 with free guitar lessons as a way to promote creativity and self-discipline in at-risk children and youths. The required donation to attend is $25 in advance or $30 at the entrance.

This festive event is set to be hosted on the streets of Sand City on Friday, August 21; Saturday, August 22; and Sunday, August 23.
