This spring, Monterey will play host to an activity that will offer the fun of a golf tournament on a much smaller scale.
The Monday Night Putters initiative will see 20 twosomes participate in a friendly competition, and a variety of prizes will be presented. The registration fee is $25, and for the first two weeks of the program, each player will receive two free beers.
The five-week-long season will consist of four weeks of play plus one playoff. Each week, the teams will play for as many points as they can, and many of the weeks will have a theme. Some new rules will be in the mix to add even more fun to the games, and the tournament winners will be presented with prizes such as gift cards, a party room rental, and a trophy. Players who attend at least three weeks of the season will receive a T-shirt.
A friendly competition gives members of the public who share a common interest time to come together in a spirit of fun. Preparing personalized award certificates and other specialized document printing services can be sourced from a local printer.
The spring season of the Monday Night Putters will be on offer at Tipsy Putt located at 95 Prescott Avenue in Monterey, running from April 7 to May 5. The registration process can be completed through its web listing.
