Monterey to be treated to all-you-can-eat tacos

Monterey taco fans may want to invest in a pair of pants with a stretchy waistband before they head to a local event in early May.

The diners at the All You Can Eat Taco event planned by Monterey Peninsula Sunrise Rotary Club will be digging into a wide assortment of styles of this popular Mexican dish. While they do, they will be helping to make sure kids around the world who have mobility issues have wheelchairs to help them get around, as well as supporting local charitable causes.

Attendees can sample a wide variety of tacos, ranging from their tried and trusted favorites to ones that are completely new to them. Both traditional and adventurous fillings will be on the menu.

Tickets are $40, and taxes and fees may be applied. Donations will also be welcome. When they purchase their passes, people may also include wine barrel auction tickets as an add-on.

Community service groups and the events they host often help to fill hotels in an area’s social safety net, and their activities can provide social opportunities at the same time. Banner printing and other decor services will be on offer at a local Print professional.

This evening of all-you-can-eat tacos will be kicking off at 5:30 pm on Saturday, May 4. It is scheduled for 300 David Avenue.
