A series set to bring summer music to the Monterey area has announced it will be kicking off in late June. Ticketholders may just find themselves going home prepared to welcome a furry friend.
The first date in the Carmel Plaza Music Series is fast approaching, and the featured performers for the occasion will be The Money Band. Several area not-for-profits will be included in the activity, and the schedule of days will run throughout the summer.
While they relax and take in the entertainment, guests will be invited to sip on coffee or wine created by Cafe Carmel and Scheid Vineyards. Representatives of Animal Friends Rescue Project will have some adoptable pets on hand for the crowd to meet, and they will also be able to learn more about the group, its work, and how to adopt a new companion animal. Each session of the program will have its own charity of choice.

The Summer Live music series will be getting started in Carmel by the Sea on Friday, June 30. It will run from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm that evening.
