Monterey may be located in sunny California, but starting next month, its residents will still be able to enjoy a winter activity usually reserved for colder areas.
The city’s Ice Skating by the Bay is on the way for Custom House Plaza, and all ages are invited to enjoy the activity. It will be open from late November until early January. The skating rink will be open seven days a week during its scheduled runtime, but it will be closed on holidays, including Thanksgiving, December 24 and 25, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Those who include a visit to the venue in their plans will be treated to a special winter themed experience, and admission is $15 for adults and $13 for kids 12 and under. Skate rentals are $5 each, and the sizes run from toddler 9 to men’s 13.
Many communities have special activities like this in the works for the holiday season. Guides can be prepared by a brochure printing company to distribute to local households so they can make their plans well in advance.
Ice Skating by the Bay is scheduled to run from Friday, November 22 until Sunday, January 5. Custom House Plaza is located behind the Portola Hotel and Spa Custom House Plaza, and the See Monterey website offers more information about dates and timings.
