Monterey’s Custom House Plaza is providing area residents with a special experience they may not often get to enjoy in California, and this frosty fun is open to all ages.
Through to the end of this month, the city will be offering the public an opportunity to lace up their skates and hit the ice during the Ice Skating by the Bay activity. The skaters can enjoy views of the bay while they have fun, and all ages are welcome.
Those who decide to give skating a try can choose from a single-session ticket or season pass, and skate rental for everyone from toddlers up to men’s size 13 will be available, for as long as supplies last. There is also a special program for those who would like to reserve the ice for a birthday party or holiday event, with eight days set aside for this.
Pop-up or seasonal activities may benefit from some heavy marketing, and a poster printing company will be happy to lend a hand. It can prepare a promotional package of materials that may really help to build the buzz about special events and ensure they are successful.
Ice Skating by the Bay got underway in late November and is continuing until December 31st. More details about this initiative can be found on the event’s website.
