The Monterey area is well known for its whale watching opportunities, and a local festival will soon make the most of the community's close connection to the sea.
New dates have been set for the 2022 Whalefest Monterey, and this family friendly celebration will be held at the Custom House Plaza at Monterey State Park and also the Old Fisherman’s Wharf. A two-day symposium led by marine experts will be included, and there will be activities any age can enjoy.
The plans for the occasion include live music as well as boat displays, food, and other fun, and everyone can enjoy the interactive educational marine exhibits. The organizers have created several sponsorship packages for companies that would like to get in on the fun, and those that do will have their Logo Design and other branding seen by a wide audience.
This annual event often draws visitors from all over the world, and it will showcase the whales, porpoises, dolphins, seals, and other marine life that call the area home, and it will run for three days.
