Monterey event to offer a whale of a time

It is almost time for one of nature’s spectacles to make its seasonal return, and a Monterey event will explore this activity in depth.

Each year, whales migrate along the California coast, and an instalment of the “Science on Tap” initiative will introduce these marine mammals to the public. The session has been dubbed “Cetaceans & Tales of Whales,” and it is being hosted by the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History.

Those who register for the evening will be led on a discussion of whales, including how and why they migrate to different areas. A panel of subject matter experts will be sharing their knowledge, and they will explore their ecosystems and the threats they face. Anyone who would like to be part of the activity will need to register their interest in advance, and both members and non-members are welcome to participate.

A public event that gives people an opportunity to learn about nature or other environmental-related topics may garner attention, and a poster printing company will have an assortment of ways to help get the word out. Its team can help its customers choose the best suited ones for them.

This chance to be part of a deep dive into the lives of the whales that migrate along the California coastline will begin at 5:30 pm on Thursday, January 25. Tickets may be purchased through its host’s website.
