The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History offers the public a chance to connect with the natural world, and it has a hands-on horticultural project on offer for the Monterey area this spring and summer.
The museum has asked area residents to consider rolling up their sleeves and lending a hand with an activity that will keep its gardens in top shape. All levels of experience and ability will be offered ways to get involved, and all assistance will be appreciated.
The volunteer work party will engage in a variety of tasks, including planting, weeding, insect control, and harvesting. Each session will have its own special theme, and along with the gardening, there will be an assortment of activities that will allow the attendees to learn even more. All ages can take part, and the function is scheduled to last for two hours.
Gardening gives people a way to connect with the natural world, and is an activity that can be enjoyed by almost anyone. A flyer printing company can supply marketing materials that will inform the public of an activity is on offer for them, and the items will be ready for posting throughout the community.
The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History’s Garden Work Bees Days are taking place on the first Saturday of each month, meaning the next one is on June 4, beginning at 10:00 am.
