The annual event Crackin' For a Cause is scheduled to return to Monterey County for its sixth year next month.
Hosted every year by the Marina Lions Club, each Crackin' For A Cause event helps the organization to raise money for community programs such as Marina Youth Arts, Blind and Visually Impaired Center, Monterey Center for the Blind, Marina High School Library, Marina Peewee Soccer, CIty of Marina Police Activities League, and Marina Youth Academic Scholarships.
All locals from the county are welcome to attend this event to support the community while having an entertaining evening. Poster printing is often used by organizers of such events to attract the attention of those interested in attending.
Perks of the night will include a dinner of Cajun-style Maine lobster, sausage, artichokes, and prawns. After dinner, door prizes, a silent auction, and a raffle will take place.
Those who wish to attend the sixth Crackin' For a Cause can purchase tickets online at $95 per person, with the option of making a donation along with the ticket purchase. One ticket covers the cost of one lobster, unlimited trimmings, two drink tickets, and a dessert.
This event is set to take place at the Moose Lodge of Monterey in Del Rey Oaks on Saturday, March 14 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
