Gem collectors, experts, and scientists will descend upon Monterey in a few weeks for an international summit and all-day educational event for those wanting to learn more about jade.
The 2025 International Jade Summit, organized by the Monterey Bay Jade Festival, will kick off soon, bringing gemologists and jade enthusiasts together in one location to network, forge new friendships, and expand their knowledge of the beautiful gemstone. Mason-Kay Jade will present the gathering, and it will be open to customers who want to purchase pieces on display.
The event will be the first of its kind in the United States and will coincide with the celebrations of the Monterey Bay Jade Festival. Upon arrival, attendees will enjoy a welcome breakfast before hearing 50-minute lectures from keynote speakers like Kirk Makepeace, a jade miner and expert. Brochure printing is a superb way to provide more information to attendees at such events to improve their experience and promote event sponsors.
Participants will also have access to the Georg Schmerholtz Jade Carving Exhibition and shop at vendor booths between lecture sessions. Lunch will also be included with the ticket price to ensure all guests are comfortable.
The Monterey History and Art Museum will host the international summit on Saturday, June 14th, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Tickets start at $65.87 per person online.
