The Old Monterey Walking Food Tour is scheduled to continue next month in Monterey.
During the Old Monterey Walking Food Tour, guests will follow a guide to five or six diverse local restaurants for a total of one to two miles of walking. Beverages and foods will include nitro coffee and samples of Greek, Indian, and Italian foods. Substitute dishes will be available for guests who are vegan or vegetarian when necessary. Participants will also be able to learn more about the history of the area and the development of its food scene. To advertise similar community tours, the hosts of such events frequently create boldly colored printouts with poster printing to attract the attention of passersby.
Each of the walking food tours is a private event for an exclusive group of two to six people. For two people, admission is priced at $150 per individual. For any additional guests, the entry fee costs $100 per person. Individuals of any age are allowed to join and children ages eight and over are required to have pre-purchased tickets at the same price as adult admission.
To follow local health and safety rules, participants must wear facemasks during most of the event except while eating.
These culinary tours will take place each Saturday and Thursday throughout March. Each event will begin at 11:00 am and last anywhere from two and a half to three and a half hours.
