Beach Boys to entertain Monterey

Music legends known for their summer vibe and Hawaiian shirts are headed for Monterey in mid-September.

The Beach Boys are known for hits such as “Kokomo” and “Good Vibrations”. Their careers have spanned many decades and generations. Getting their start in the 1960s, the group has inspired countless acts that have since followed them.

This tour will feature Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, along with Mike’s son Christian, Scott Totten as the musical director, and Brian Eichenberger, John Cowsill, Tim Bonhomme, Randy Leago, and Keith Hubacher to fill out the missing places within the group.

This show is being held at an indoor venue, and the hosts are watching the Covid-19 restrictions closely. If the need arises, the show may be moved to an outdoor space, but refunds will only be given if the show is entirely postponed or canceled. Those interested in attending should watch for emails or posts by the venue or artist in order to know if there are changes or cancellations.

The band will have some of merchandise available at the show. Guests should be able to find various items with the band Logo Design on them.

The Monterey show will be one stop on the world tour planned to start in the summer across the pond. The show will begin at 7:00 pm. The current venue is the Golden State Theatre. Tickets range in price from $59 to $99. The date of the show is September 16.
